Mykola Webster, ABD, C-IAYT
Behavioral Health
Mykola has been a recognized Yoga Instructor in Pennsylvania and Costa Rica since 2016. She is first a lifelong student of yoga and then a teacher. Mykola holds a strong belief that through the breath, we can do all things, and in the stillness and quiet of the breath is where self-growth and exploration begin. As a Yoga Therapist, Mykola allows the therapeutics of this healing practice to holistically connect you to your innermost self, setting the stage for deep self-introspection. Mykola lives a life of constant self-study with her little guy, Blaise Love, who is her reason and inspiration for all that she does.
Yoga Therapy can be done either one-on-one with the teacher or in a family group with children aged 0 to 17. This model of therapy is a unique approach to healing through body movement, and it includes small amounts of conversation that guide the yoga therapy process.
What is Yoga Therapy? Comprehensive Yoga Therapy uses the tools of the physical practice of yoga to address social, emotional, behavioral, and mental challenges, both one-on-one and in groups. Working one-on-one with a client, the Yoga Therapist gently moves the body through therapeutic movements/postures, allowing the client to release dis-ease and discomfort, leading to overall well-being.
What is Yoga Group Therapy? When yoga therapy is delivered in a group setting, the Yoga Therapist seeks to hold space for each group member to move the body physically while allowing organic conversation around different life challenges, reminding those in the group that they are not alone on this journey we call life.
In both one-on-one and group settings, the Yoga Therapist holds the space for each client to connect the mind with the body, allowing each individual’s unique healing to occur.
