Please read below for tips:
- Hours between 8 pm and 10 pm are ONLY for Telehealth. Please do not book in-person visits at that time!
- When you book online, you will get an email saying you have requested an appointment. This is a REAL appointment, even before you receive the approval email.
- Do you have an HMO or Medicaid Managed Care plan? If so, read below. IF NOT, you are ready to use the green buttons below.
- Sick appointments open at night for the next day. Look for sick appointments overnight or early in the morning on the day you want to be seen.
- WE ARE OPEN ACCESS. That means the schedule only opens two weeks in advance. Please do not request appointments beyond that.
- If you do not see the appointment time you need, please put in specifics for exactly what you need in the notes section of your request.
HMO or Medicaid Managed Care Plan
Your insurance has rules!
- Our practice name with the correct location MUST be on your insurance card. Call them if it's not!
- Your child must be the age of the appointment you are scheduling (4 years old for a 4-year-old well visit)
- If your child is 3 years old or older, it must be a FULL YEAR to the date (or longer) since your last annual well visit.
Are you a new patient?
Please choose the Meet And Greet option when you schedule, and come in for a free 10-minute visit to the office, to meet with one of the doctors or the PA, and get to know us before your first appointment.
Flu and Covid Vaccines:
We DO have the new Covid and Flu vaccines.
Other Tips For All:
- We cannot give 1-year-old vaccines until your child is fully 1 year old. Not even a day early!
- We cannot give flu or COVID vaccines until your child is fully 6 months old. Not even a day early!
- NEWBORNS MUST BE SEEN NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS OLD! If you do not see an appointment for your newborn within 7 days, please call the office at 215-774-1166.
- We CAN do bloodwork and give vaccines at a regular visit. There is no need to schedule a separate medical assistant visit.

- Please allow us 24 hours notice for any cancellations. We do have a short notice cancellation fee of $100.
- Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment. We do not have a grace period.
- TELEHEALTH INFORMATION: If you are looking for a telehealth appointment, check both locations. Telehealth visits are available with all providers during regular daytime and evening hours. This can be booked online or by calling the office.
- NIGHTTIME TELEHEALTH IS AVAILABLE 8-10 PM Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
*Kristen is often able to accommodate a telehealth on other nights, so feel free to request one on the portal.*
NIGHTTIME TELEHEALTH INFORMATION:
What if we discover your child needs a test at the virtual visit? If the child needs a throat swab, nasal swab, blood pressure check, urine test or other test, you will be able to see the medical assistant at the office the next day without an additional co-pay.
How do you book nighttime telehealth? You can go on the Schedule Appointment Tab, and choose Kristen Smith, always in the Philadelphia office (regardless of which office you use) and choose the "televisit" option. This is a 30-minute time slot. A link will be sent text message and email will be sent automatically or you can access the televisit directly from the portal. If you do not see a timeslot available, please do NOT use the " send request" option as this request will not be seen until the front desk staff returns to the office the next morning. If you cannot find an appointment, please send a portal message.
Can the Montgomery County offices' patients have nighttime telehealth? You can still book for Kristen's nighttime virtual visits using the Philadelphia office schedule. They will adjust the appointment to reflect the correct office.
