Family Medicine

I am a Speech Language Pathologist with a specialty in pediatric feeding and swallowing problems and neuro-developmental treatment. My experience is varied over 30 years at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, United Cerebral Palsy Association of Philadelphia, LaSalle University as adjunct professor in the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and working as a consultant in Pediatric practices since my retirement from CHOP. Some of the issues I have addressed include infant sucking and swallowing coordination, food texture progression, mealtime behaviors and picky eating, as well as identifying more serious swallowing issues impacting health (dysphasia: swallowing incoordination and aspiration). I am proud of having helped numerous infants, children, and their caregivers overcome feeding & swallowing problems and supported positive growth and family mealtimes.  I am available for an initial phone consultation and scheduling in person appointments when indicated.

Sharon Greis is located in the Philadelphia office and on telehealth. Sharon has a wealth of experience after a long career at
CHOP in their speech therapy department. She now offers this expertise in an affordable way, especially for those under 2 years
old. She offers a free initial discussion over the phone, $50 for a virtual assessment, $100 for an in-person assessment IN OUR
OFFICE, and then $50 per therapy session. Reach out to her directly at 215-901-7144 or by email at smgslp@gmail.com
